in movies, Pop Culture, trailer park fridays

Since I took the week off last week this post is kind of long. Sorry!

Bachelorette (Red Band Trailer)

Okay, I know I already showed y’all a trailer for this movie but now the red band trailer is out and it is so much better. Seriously, see this movie. It’s awesome.

Killing Them Softly

BRAD PITT! I’m so glad he has stopped messing around and seems to be returning to the roles he does best. Also, any trailer that ends with a Johnny Cash song is pretty much a guaranteed success. It’s science.

Paperboy

I’m really excited to see Zac Efron in a real grown-up roll. I’ve mostly been hearing positive buzz surrounding this film. I might have to get over my aversion to John Cusack to watch it, though. I mean, is it just me or did this trailer get less exciting when he showed up? JUST SAYING. Anyway, this trailer didn’t completely sell me. It kind of feels like a mess. But I’ll definitely keep an open mind. John Cusack and all.

Paranormal Activity 4

I thoroughly enjoyed the first three movies and suspect I’ll enjoy this one just the same. Yes, I am a little ashamed to be admitting that. Only a little. DID YOU SEE THAT LITTLE BOY?!

Skyfall (Official Trailer)

As my favorite twitter personality said:

The Trouble with the Curve

Seeing Justin Timberlake in movies only just reminds me he still isn’t making music. I can’t. It’s just too much.

On the Road

For a really long time I had this story confused with McCarthy’s The Road. I’m glad I finally figured it out because now the trailer makes so much more sense.

These are my thoughts:

Do you think Dean knows the truth about that sixteen year old wife of his? Huh, K Stew??

Is anyone else really excited Kirsten Dunst is back? Maybe it’s because we share the same birthday, but I’ve always been rooting for her.

I need to read this book.

Zero Dark Thirty

Kathryn Bigelow. Yes.

Coach Taylor. Yes.

I’m not sure how I feel about the film’s subject, but Coach Taylor always has my attention.

Liberal Arts

My girl-crush on Elizabeth Olsen is kind of out of control. In fact I am borderline inappropriately obsessed with that whole family.
