Here’s a fun Monday sort of confession for you: I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Sir Mickey Mouse. Does that surprise you? It surprises me, too. It wasn’t so much that I didn’t like him, but more so that I was too distracted by all of the other Disney characters to give him much thought.
Well if there is one thing life at Disney taught me, it is the that that silly Mouse is most certainly my favorite character of them all. My love for him has only continued to grow since I left Disney on account of his cartoons have been helping me to get over my withdrawals over the past couple of months. I just fall more and more in love with him every single day. Have you ever seen a Mickey Mouse cartoon? Oh they are the best! They make me all sentimental for the days when cartoons were simple and genuinely funny and full of great orchestration and something both adults and children could enjoy. Nowadays it seems cartoons always have to be all educational and don’t even get me started on how they are all done on stupid computers. Animation purists unite!
Where was I? Oh right. If you have never had a chance to watch a Mickey Mouse cartoon (or if you are feeling rather sentimental for your childhood) allow me to present to you one of my favorites!
